Kaushik Das is appointed as the new managing director of JCPenney India
Kaushik Das has been named the new Managing Director (MD) of JCPenney India. Das will manage the center's transformation plan and be headquartered out of the Bengaluru office, where he will also drive innovation. Das brings with him more than 22 years of experience working throughout the globe in strategy, operations, transformation, customer experience, enterprise programs, and change management in the consulting industry across the GCCs.
Das has held key leadership roles at organizations such as Kabbage Inc. and Target. In his most recent role as a global senior director of operations and analytics at Giant Eagle, he was responsible for shaping and building the foundation of the GCC across all dimensions of people, processes, and technology. Sharmeelee Bala, CIO of JCPenney, said in a statement: "We’re thrilled to welcome Kaushik as the new Managing Director of JCPenney India.”
