K Raheja Corp-backed Mindspace Business Parks REIT organizes top management
In order to promote the next stage of expansion, Mindspace Business Parks REIT has changed its senior management to assure stability and continuity. The K Raheja Corp-backed listed entity has named Ramesh Nair as Chief Executive Officer, with effect from September 1, while increasing Vinod Rohira to Board Member of the REIT.
Rohira will spearhead a larger role within the group as Managing Director and CEO of Commercial Real Estate, K Raheja Corp, along with a seat on the Board of the residential business K Raheja Corp Homes. Mindspace Business Parks REIT, sponsored by K Raheja Corp group, was listed on the Indian bourses in August 2020. The REIT owns office portfolios located in four key office markets of India, including the Mumbai Region, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
The portfolio has a total leasable area of 32.1 million sq ft comprising 25.9 million sq ft of completed area, 2.5 million sq ft of area under construction and 3.7 million sq ft of future development. The portfolio consists of five integrated business parks and five independent office assets. It has a diversified tenant base, with over 200 tenants as of June end.
