Institute of Chartered Accountants of India reveals new CA India logo

The CA Institute, the world's largest professional body of Chartered Accountants, has revealed a new logo at the Global Professional Accountants Convention (GloPAC) in Gandhinagar. Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, alongside Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, unveiled the logo, highlighting the institute's dedication to an India-first approach and its role as a trusted partner in nation-building. The logo features blue 'CA' letters with an upside-down tricolour tick mark on a white background. The blue colour symbolizes creativity, knowledge, trust, and stability, while the tricolour tick mark represents the wisdom and value of professionals, commonly used in audits. Additionally, 'India' has been incorporated into the logo to emphasize the institute's commitment to serving the Indian economy in the public interest.
Speaking at the event, Aniket Sunil Talati, President of ICAI, expressed pride in marking 75 years of steadfast trust and commitment with the unveiling of the new CA logo. He emphasized that the logo is more than just a symbol; it embodies a proud identity rooted in trust, excellence, and a dedication to upholding Indian values and heritage. Talati underscored the institute's unwavering commitment to being a reliable partner in the progress of the nation. Vice-President of ICAI, Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, highlighted the significant contribution of Chartered Accountants to the growth of the Indian economy, noting their role as global ambassadors for India. He pointed out that Indian Chartered Accountants play a crucial role in attracting investment opportunities to the country on the global stage.
The introduction of the new CA logo is aligned with our vision to enhance the global standing of the Indian accounting profession by maintaining the utmost standards of excellence, independence, and integrity. Internationally, the updated logo will symbolize membership in a professional network comprised of highly skilled, trustworthy, and qualified individuals, proudly representing oneself as 'CA India'. This initiative aims to establish international recognition and provide a unique identity for Indian Chartered Accountants on the global stage, ensuring that the Indian CA qualification is distinguished in a progressively competitive global market.
