Bangalore: India, known for its diverse traditions, customs, religions and regions amply reflect the country’s varied cuisine and food culture. The road side foods are the specialty of Indian roads and it is offered by the street vendors or hawkers in public roads with a portable stall. Each Indian city has its own special snacky dish which is yummy and unique in taste. The metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore have umpteen number of road-side stalls as the cities are filled with migrants from various places. It is considered to be a hang-out place for family and friends.

# 10 Panipuri

Known as ‘Gol Gappa’ in Northern India and ‘Puchkas’ in Western India; the exotic flavored Panipuri is a mouth watering food item and considered to be the best street food from India. The popular chat item was originated from Bihar and now it’s available across every road side in India. The spicy mashed potato stuffed in small, oval-shaped, crisp wheat balls and served after dipping into tangy water tantalizes your taste buds. The tangy water is made of extracts from tamarind along with mint and coriander leaves.  The filling varies from region to region.
