India and UAE Boost Renewable Energy Ties
The UAE-India Business Council (UIBC) and Nangia Andersen LLP unveiled a new report titled "Modern Energy: India-UAE Collaboration for a Sustainable Future" on March 6, 2024, at JW Marriott Juhu, Mumbai. The report focuses on the collaboration between India and the United Arab Emirates in the renewable energy sector, with the aim of fostering a sustainable future aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The report serves as a comprehensive guide for companies interested in entering or expanding their operations in the renewable energy sector between the two countries. It highlights key policy frameworks and initiatives such as India's National Solar Mission and the UAE's Energy Strategy 2050, which play crucial roles in promoting the adoption of renewable energy.
