Hindustan Unilever Appoints BP Biddappa as New HR Head
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced a significant leadership change within its management committee, marking a pivotal transition in its human resources and sustainability strategy. The company has appointed BP Biddappa as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Chief People, Transformation, and Sustainability Officer for South Asia.
Biddappa's appointment is poised to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront, with a career spanning over three decades within Unilever. Having commenced his journey with a stint in HUL's factory, Biddappa has traversed various roles within the conglomerate, ranging from leadership development to business partnering across diverse geographies including Maghreb, Bangladesh, and India.
This leadership shuffle sees Biddappa succeeding Anuradha Razdan, who has been pivotal in her role as the Executive Director of HR at HUL and the CHRO for South Asia for the past five years. Razdan will be transitioning to a global position as Chief Reward & Organization Development Officer for Unilever, effective June 1.
