HCLTech Appoints Bhavani Balasubramanian as Independent Director
HCL Technologies, a global technology company, has announced the appointment of Bhavani Balasubramanian as an Independent Director. Bhavani, a qualified Chartered Accountant, brings over four decades of auditing experience, working with diverse clients such as listed companies and multinational entities across various industries. She has held various leadership positions, including the role of Audit and Assurance Partner for Deloitte India. Bhavani has actively contributed as a member of Deloitte's international councils and working groups. Apart from her role at HCLTech, she also serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of other publicly traded companies.
Having been a member of the Auditing Standards Board at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, she holds the status of a fellow member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Currently serving as a Strategic Consultant specializing in diversity and inclusion, her extensive experience, expertise, and knowledge have led the Board to appoint her as a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committees of the Company.
