Harsh Vardhan Invited to Address India-U.S. Health Meet in Nov
WASHINGTON: Union health minister Harsh Vardhan has been invited to address the India-U.S. Health Exchange meeting to be held in Chicago in November.
The two-day U.S.-India Health Summit in Chicago being held on November 7 and 8 is organised by the Association of Tamil Nadu medical graduates charitable foundation Chicago in alliance with Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force in Chicago, a statement said.
Prominent health care organisations, universities and federal government officials are expected to participate in the two-day meeting.
U.S. Congressman Danny K Davis and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services will also participate, the statement said.
Dr Harsh Vardhan has been invited to deliver the key note address at on November 7 and preside over the 34th annual banquet of Indian American Medical Association the next day on November 8 at Chicago.
