Happiest Minds Technologies Acquires Macmillan Learning India
Happiest Minds Technologies, an IT services management company, announced the acquisition of Macmillan Learning India, which will become a wholly-owned subsidiary. The acquisition cost is Rs 4.5 crore and is expected to be completed by April 30.
In a stock exchange filing, Happiest Minds stated that it has executed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% equity interest in Macmillan Learning India Private Limited, subject to the terms and conditions set out in the agreement.
Macmillan Learning India, engaged in providing software development services to the Macmillan Group, USA, functions as an offshore development center. The company reported a turnover of Rs 6.9 crore in FY 2022-23.
Happiest Minds, headquartered in Bengaluru, provides digital transformation services for enterprises and technology providers globally, with operations in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East.
The acquisition enhances Happiest Minds' edutech vertical and strengthens its position as a strategic partner for the Macmillan Group. This partnership supports Happiest Minds' ongoing efforts to deliver seamless customer experiences, business efficiency, and actionable insights for clients.
