Hansgrohe Appoints Abdulkader Bengali to Lead India Growth

The Hansgrohe Group, a global leader in premium bathroom and kitchen solutions, has appointed Abdulkader Bengali as Managing Director for its India operations. The appointment, effective August 18, 2025, signals the company’s commitment to scaling its presence in one of the fastest growing markets for luxury home solutions.

With over 25 years of experience in the construction and building materials industry, Bengali has a strong track record of business transformation and growth leadership. Prior to joining Hansgrohe, he served as Senior Vice President at Sintex BAPL, leading its Water Management Solutions division. He also played a key role in driving business transformation at ALP Aeroflex and led Owens Corning's India and SAARC operations, gaining international exposure.

A gold medalist engineer from NIT Surat and an Executive MBA graduate from SP Jain, Bengali is known for delivering consistent results in P&L management, sales execution, and operational excellence.

Hansgrohe’s move comes as India’s bathroom fittings market is set to grow from USD 11.49 billion in 2025 to USD 16.67 billion by 2030. The luxury segment alone is expected to double by 2032, driven by rising disposable incomes and rapid urban development.

With Bengali at the helm, Hansgrohe aims to strengthen its footprint and deliver innovative, sustainable water solutions across India.
