HAL Announces Barenya Senapati as New Finance Leader

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL) announced the appointment of Barenya Senapati as the new Finance Director . Barenya Senapati is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has wide experience pertaining to accounting, financial planning and budgetary plans, treasury management, price estimation and taxation.

Before this appointment, Senapati was working as the Finance Executive Director at the corporate office of HAL and was managing all finance and accounting functions. He had played a crucial role in negotiation for contracts for the supply of fighter aircraft besides helicopters. In addition, he has supported setting price strategies for the repair and overhauling services of HAL, which forms a major chunk of revenue for this organization.

The long experience of Senapati and his proven background in finance is expected to contribute fully toward strategic objectives and financial growth at HAL. The company was confident that he would be able to steer the finance division effectively so that the performance of the finance division improves.
