Born and raised in India, Kedia's educational journey began at the Delhi College of Engineering, where she studied electrical and electronics engineering. Upon completing her undergraduate studies in 1992, she set her sights on furthering her business acumen, earning an MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. After completing her MBA, Kedia moved to the United States, where her career in finance began to take shape.

Before joining US Bancorp, Kedia held leadership roles at several prominent organizations, including PwC, McKinsey & Company, and State Street. Her tenure at these firms equipped her with a broad understanding of the financial landscape and honed her strategic leadership, risk management, and business transformation skills. She joined US Bancorp in 2016 as Vice Chair, and within just a few years, Kedia's contributions led to her promotion to President in May 2024.
