GD Goenka Group Appoints Dr. Amrita Bahl as Chief Education Officer

GD Goenka Group has officially named Dr. Amrita Bahl as the Chief Education Officer, responsible for leading pedagogy, curriculum development, and academic delivery across GD Goenka institutions, encompassing preschools, senior schools, and higher education.
With over 20 years of experience as an Education Policy, Reform, and Governance Leader, Dr. Bahl has a robust background in driving educational transitions. She notably spearheaded the transition of schools to the Bhutan Baccalaureate Learning Process at Druk Gyalpo’s Institute in Bhutan. Additionally, Dr. Bahl has designed and implemented Climate Change outreach programs for schools. Her diverse experience also includes serving as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Lt. Governor, Government of Puducherry, where she played a key role in Public Outreach and Communication Strategy.
Dr. Bahl's career has extended beyond national borders, having worked with esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations (UN), and other international bodies. In these roles, she executed outreach programs focusing on drugs and crime, demonstrating her commitment to social issues. Dr. Bahl has a track record of developing and leading strategic partnerships with government bodies, civil society, private sector entities, media, and academia.
Educationally, Dr. Amrita Bahl holds an Ed.D and MA in Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also possesses an MA in Applied Clinical Psychology from Delhi University and a BA in Psychology from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University.
