Galgotias University CEO Honored by UP Governor for QS Asia Ranking

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, was honored by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel at a grand ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan auditorium. The event celebrated the inclusion of 18 universities from Uttar Pradesh in the prestigious QS Asia Rankings, with Galgotias University securing a rank between 621 and 640 in the QS World University Rankings 2025.
QS Asia Rankings, compiled by the global higher education analytics firm Quacquarelli Symonds, are part of a renowned portfolio of comparative university rankings that assess institutions based on various academic and institutional criteria.
During the event, Governor Patel congratulated the vice-chancellors and their teams for their hard work, highlighting the importance of collaboration and active student involvement in achieving these milestones. She also praised the universities for their reformative initiatives, which have enhanced their quality and contributed to their global recognition.
Reflecting on her work to enhance higher education in Uttar Pradesh, Governor Patel shared her experiences and discussed the challenges faced during the reform process. She encouraged continued efforts to strengthen the education system and further elevate the state’s academic standing.
Galgotias University’s recognition in the QS Asia Rankings highlights its commitment to academic excellence and underscores India’s growing prominence in global higher education.
