Bangalore: N R Narayana Murthy, the founder and chairman of Infosys who is a prominent personality and very inspirational person in the country says that UPA-II, the present ruling government is running under dual leadership where the PM is Manmohan Singh runs the government and Sonia Gandhi is controls the political party which has lead to the failure in administration. The party didn't move ahead with the reforms despite of being the ruling party for two years.
The Infosys founder is disappointed with the drastic slowdown in decision making. The corruption In India and the PM's name behind those activities never been revealed as they PM's economic advisory council is headed by C Rangarajan who is closely related to Manmohan Singh. The panel of economist blames the government as their pre occupation and corruption are very much correlated is the reason for the being deliberate in decision making on the controversies.
Murthy says that it is culture of people in India to take slow decisions as Indians hesitate a lot. This doesn't happen only in the capital of India but in every state of India this is the pattern he adds. He wants the people of India to realize that being hesitant is never going to be helpful. Postponement is a reason for failure and loss. Quick decision taking mentality must be taught to people.
Many times the corporate leaders have given notifications regarding paralyzing the policies. The finance minister Pranab Mukherjee had a meeting with top industrialist of the countries to dispel the fear over the functions of the government. The corporate people expressed their displeasure in public when the private meeting took place in north block, New Delhi. The finance minister told that it's just a perception of the corporate. The words of Narayana Murthy's comments will have a huge negative impact on people and government's quality.
The government is now two years and three months old. Now it's time to be concerned and think what is happening and how are things working. India's growth rate would have been double times more if the inflation was in control. Murthy concluded by suggesting that if the politicians to get retired at the age of sixty would be a great idea.
