CM Naidu Explores Investment Opportunities with Adani Group
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, met with the leadership of the Adani Group to discuss potential investments for the state. Led by Rajesh Adani, managing director of Adani Exports Ltd., and Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd., the delegation pitched the ideas for projects that will cater to the growth sectors in the state.
CM Naidu shared the details of the meeting on the social media platform 'X'. He said that they had discussed initiatives from ports, mining, infrastructure, IT, tourism, and artificial intelligence. "Their presentation covered projects with the potential to drive comprehensive growth across the state… [including] a commitment to rebuilding Amaravati and realizing our vision for Swarna Andhra Pradesh", Naidu posted.
As part of this parallel development, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, who is currently in the United States, has been holding talks with Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen in San Francisco. Lokesh asked Adobe to set up a research and development center in Andhra Pradesh to boost digital governance and AI-driven solutions in the state.
During the meeting, Lokesh spoke about CM Naidu's investor-friendly policies and strategic vision for the state. He proposed to Narayen that Adobe could play a very important role in developing digital skills amongst the youth of Andhra Pradesh. Narayen responded positively by describing the role of Adobe as leader in digital media and cloud services and underlined its global market footprint valued at Rs 17.95 lakh crore.
Minister Lokesh expressed gratitude to the contributions made by Adobe towards digital innovation, in keeping with the ambition of Andhra Pradesh to be a global technological hub. Narayen said Adobe would think about investing in Andhra Pradesh after further talks with partners.
