Bureau, a leading no-code identity and risk decisioning platform, has named Venkat Srinivasan as its new Chief Analytics and Risk Officer, further strengthening its leadership team following its recent Series B funding round.
Backed by Sorenson Capital and PayPal Ventures, Bureau is rapidly expanding its footprint in digital trust infrastructure. The appointment of Srinivasan marks a strategic move to enhance the company’s global risk intelligence capabilities as it scales to serve fintechs, banks, e-commerce firms, and workforce verification providers.
In his new role, Srinivasan will lead Bureau’s data science strategy and oversee the development of advanced decisioning models. These will include synthetic fraud detection, behavioral anomaly scoring, and cross-border KYC orchestration all designed to solidify Bureau’s position as a single API endpoint for identity and risk decisions.
“Today’s businesses don’t just need fraud signals they need business decisions, real-time answers: ‘Is this user who they claim to be? Should we onboard or block them?’” said Srinivasan. “Bureau’s platform uniquely merges identity verification, behavioral biometrics, and risk modelling to deliver those verdicts. I’m excited to work with this team to help enterprises replace guesswork with certainty”.
Srinivasan brings over two decades of global experience in banking, risk, and analytics to Bureau’s leadership. His career includes key roles across India, the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Notably, he helped build the risk management practice for TSB Bank in the UK and later led lending initiatives at Monzo as Head of Lending. He also served as Chief Risk Officer at Jupiter Money and Shubh Loans and managed significant risk portfolios at Lloyds Banking Group. Earlier in his career, he contributed to data science efforts at American Express, Citibank, and Western Union.
In this new capacity, Srinivasan will work closely with Bureau’s engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to embed enterprise-grade intelligence into its APIs. He will also mentor emerging data science and risk talent as part of the company’s long-term innovation strategy.
“Venkat’s global banking leadership and AI expertise make him the ideal architect for our next-generation identity decisioning platform”, said Ranjan R Reddy, founder and CEO of Bureau. “His ability to build scalable, adaptive risk frameworks will define the new standard for deterministic trust infrastructure”.
Bureau also announced plans to further strengthen its C-suite in the coming months as part of its strategic global expansion.
