Chennai: There was a bomb threat at the IT Park, in Ambattur in Chennai, which is the Training Campus of TCS. 1,000 employees were immediately evacuated in an orderly fashion to safety. One of the tenants in the training facility had received a threat on the phone regarding the bomb in the building this morning.
Special police squads and specialist teams of the Chennai police are conducting investigation regarding this. The police have not got any more evidence regarding this at the moment. TCS has said that this incident will not have an impact on their business and they will carry their work on like usual.
