BITS Pilani and Aditya Birla Science Partner for Research and Innovation

BITS Pilani recently inked a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company in the pursuit of encouraging both academic and research collaborations to advance scientific and technological progress towards human resource development in areas chosen mutually.
Under the MoU, both organizations will collaborate on several key initiatives, which would include joint research in basic and applied sciences, research proposal submission to national and international funding bodies, and the exchange of expertise through workshops, conferences, and symposiums.
Also, the collaboration will provide BITS Pilani students with opportunities to carry out research projects and PS projects at the modern research facilities of ABSTC. Furthermore, ABSTC employees can now join the Ph.D. programs that BITS offers through its Ph.D. Aspirant Scheme, which will enhance knowledge sharing and innovation.
Speaking on the development, Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani, said "This MoU marks an important step in bridging academic research with industrial application. Our goal is to spur creativity and provide significant solutions. In this regard, collaborating with a progressive company like ABSTC will enable us to accomplish our objectives. Together, we strive to progress in science and nurture future researchers and innovators”.
