The Hinoba-an Cave Park is one of the Philippines’ most interesting natural attractions. Spread across a 50-hectare area, visitors are given the opportunity to explore the mouth of a large, unnamed cave or hike through low mountain ranges with lush vegetation and large limestone rocks. The cave is located on Mount Mantalingajan and has several geological formations like stalactites, stalagmites, columns, curtains, concretions, and flowstones.

Mayon Volcano

Laced with green rolling hills, rainforests and mineral springs, the province of Albay is home to the iconic Mount Mayon. Known as one of the most perfect volcanoes in the world due to its symmetry, this 466 metre high stratovolcano dominates all others on a clear day. With a diameter of more than six kilometres at the base, it’s also one of the largest volcanoes in the Philippines. If you find yourself climbing it for sunrise or sunset views, do your best not to get too close to its edge – accidents have occurred there before.
