Derek Rabelo - The Blind Surfer

This amazing individual isn't just another average surfer. Derek was born with congenital glaucoma, but this didn't stop this Brazilian from riding the waves.

Relying on four out of five senses, Derek Rabelo learnt to surf when he was just three years old. High tides and strong side shore winds have never fazed this daredevil, and this daredevilry on the high seas have made him a real hero and role model for others. He is currently playing the role of a protagonist in an upcoming documentary named “Beyond Sight”.
