Allcargo Group Appoints Ketan Kulkarni as Chief Growth Officer
Mumbai-based global logistics conglomerate, Allcargo Group, has appointed Ketan Kulkarni, a seasoned professional in the logistics and supply chain industry, as its Chief Growth Officer. In his new role, Kulkarni will report directly to Shashi Kiran Shetty, the founder and chairman of Allcargo Group, and collaborate closely with the chairman's office to bolster overall growth and operational efficiency within the organization.
Kulkarni's responsibilities encompass spearheading stakeholder value creation across various businesses within the Allcargo Group, including Allcargo ECU Ltd, Allcargo Gati, Allcargo Supply Chain, and Allcargo Terminals. This entails engaging periodically with the leadership teams of these entities to drive strategic initiatives. Additionally, he will oversee investor relations for key management professionals such as Managing Directors, Chief Financial Officers, and the Group CFO, with a primary focus on enhancing shareholder value.
With a career spanning over three decades, Kulkarni brings extensive experience across diverse sectors such as logistics, consumer durables, FMCG, and beverages. His most recent role was as the Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Dart Express (DHL Group).
Shetty expressed confidence in Kulkarni's appointment, highlighting his expertise as instrumental in driving synergistic growth within Allcargo Group's flagship businesses. Kulkarni's mandate includes fostering global and domestic partnerships, nurturing existing customer relationships, and developing new ones. Moreover, he will lead the marketing and enterprise account strategy for the Group, aiming to enhance market share organically by leveraging existing networks and resources both in India and overseas.
