Adobe to Offer Experience Platform Apps via India Data Centre
Adobe, a leading software company, announced plans to comply with India's data localisation norms by offering its Experience Platform-based applications through an India data centre later this year. This strategic move aims to meet local data residency requirements and enhance performance by reducing latency.
Prativa Mohapatra, Vice President and Managing Director of Adobe India, highlighted the increasing demand for Adobe Experience Platform-based applications across various sectors including banking, financial services, insurance, telecom, manufacturing, and retail. Mohapatra expressed enthusiasm about addressing the hyper-growth needs of Indian businesses by providing these applications via an India-based data centre.
Through the new data centre, Indian enterprises will gain access to Adobe Experience Platform-based applications such as Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
Adobe's clientele in India includes prominent names like Air India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Tata Motors, and MakeMyTrip. This move underscores Adobe's commitment to supporting Indian businesses by ensuring data residency compliance and enhancing application performance.
