Adani Group Honoured in TIME's World's Best Companies of 2024
The Adani Group, one of India’s largest integrated business conglomerates, has been featured in TIME magazine’s prestigious ‘World’s Best Companies of 2024’ list. The accolade highlights the group’s strong performance in employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability.
The list, compiled by TIME in collaboration with Statista, a global industry ranking and statistics portal, evaluated eight out of the 11 listed companies under the Adani Group’s portfolio. The companies recognized include Adani Enterprises Ltd, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, Adani Total Gas Ltd, Ambuja Cements, Adani Power Ltd, and Adani Wilmar Ltd. The remaining three listed entities are subsidiaries of these eight companies.
The recognition underscores Adani Group’s commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering excellence across its diverse sectors, which span energy, utilities, transport, logistics, natural resources, and consumer goods.
The Adani Group has experienced significant growth, with a focus on emerging sectors such as solar and wind energy, as well as airports and infrastructure. In the first quarter of this fiscal year, the group reported a 50.1% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 10,279 crore, while its EBITDA grew by 32.9% to Rs 22,570 crore, reflecting its rapid expansion.
The ‘World’s Best Companies 2024’ list evaluated firms based on key metrics including employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability (ESG) practices.
