World's Top 10 Strongest Special Operations Forces



Bangalore: Nearly every country in the world has its own special operations forces to protect the interests of the country against external and internal enemies. The top strongest forces in the world are chosen based on their history and the size and might of the forces, as listed by IndiaTV. Here is the list of top 10 strongest forces in the world.

British SAS

The Special Air Service or SAS is a regiment of the British Army formed on 31 May 1950. Being a part of the United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF), Special Air Service or SAS is the strongest fighting force in the world that is trained to execute well in all the fields listed for the SEALs.  After the establishment of SAS, several Special Forces have modeled their training including USA’s Delta Forces; and many other forces have cross train with them such as US Navy SEALs, Norwegian MJK and many more. Presently, SAS includes 22 Special Air Service Regiment of the Regular Army, 23 Special Air Service Regiment from the Territorial Army and 21 Special Air Service Regiment. The SAS even played a major role in 1980 in the rescue operation of the Iranian hostages from the embassy.
