Watching DDLJ at Maratha Mandir A must: Aditya Chopra’s eternal romantic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is still running even after 18 long years since its initial release way back in October 1995. The film, which released 2 weeks before its lead star Shahrukh Khan’s 30th birthday, is still running to packed houses at Mumbai’s famous Maratha Mandir.

Managing director of Maratha Mandir, Manoj Desai, said, “The magic of DDLJ’s evergreen romance continues to bring audiences to the theatre. The matinee show (11:30 am) sometimes runs to packed houses, with young lovers, students and even married couples queuing up to buy tickets. The older generation gets nostalgic, they have so many memories attached to the film” reports TOI.
