BANGALORE: The end of the year 2014 is here, but just as most of years, searches by Indian on Google and other platforms have not slow down this year also. Here are top 10 things, Indians searched in 2014 by Google.

10. Times of India
As general elections were held this year, politics were in main frame for Indians, counting on a lot of scam news with Delhi and Badaun rape incident making the headline. It is not surprising to find out that ‘The Times Of India – English language daily newspaper’ is placed tenth on the list for most searched stuff on Google in India.

9. Google Translate
India’s language diversity and the basis that English is not the main lingo employed among common Indians brings Google Translate—a multilingual service, as the ninth most searched things on Google by Indians.

Google translate also offers mobile interface for Android and iOS with web interface. The fact that numbers of mobile user’s in India has increase drastically this year; has added to the buzz and catapulted Google Translate into the league of the most searched list in India.

1: Oh cmmon...How could you exclude porn. That is the most searched word all over the world. Indians and Pakistanis are known to search this the most. This is reality I am telling.
