Along with the announcement of successful graduates, Kiran Deshpande, President, TiE Pune, also declared the upcoming TiECON Pune 2018 that will be held on 20th & 21st of April in Pune. Eminent speakers like FC Kohli, S Ramadorai, Alyque Padamsee and many others will be present to enlighten the industry. TiECON is the largest entrepreneurship conference in the city organized by TiE Pune and it helps the emerging companies reach the inflection point. It is a must-attend event for the start-up founders and entrepreneurs because it gives proper guidance and nurturing from the established entrepreneurs. Speaking on the event, Kiran Deshpande, President, TiE Pune, says, “In analysing angel investment activity several years ago, it became apparent that one has to work closely with founders to build the core value proposition and define the roadmap for the start-up. A mentor is like a guide or coach who is around when needed but not visible. Based on the success of this program, TiE Pune is now extending this program to other TiE chapters worldwide.”

‘Nurture@ TiE Pune’ is a program targeted at the new age companies under which startups are given a 9 to 12 months of structured mentoring by TiE Charter Members. With over 700 entrepreneurs, start-up founders and others, TiECON helps them get the information, ideas, and inspiration from the mentors. TiE Pune is now planning to extend the mentoring program to the students as well, thus helping create the future-ready entrepreneurs.
