These Indian Netas Are No. 1 Target of Terrorists

BANGALORE: With the political atmosphere getting lot more intense with each passing day, political parties are becoming more active with the campaigning and rallies. On the other hand, the Intelligence Bureau has drawn out a fresh list that names the top ten politicians in India who are under the scanner of terrorists. According to the report, these politicos face threats from Naxalites, Indian Mujahideen, Babbar Khalsa International and the Lashkar-e-Tayiba. Below listed are the names of 10 such politicos who top the terror hit-list, as compiled by Rediff.

Narendra Modi: The Bhartiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi is on the top in the terrorist hit-list. Some of the terror outfit has issued a direct threat stating that the Gujarat Chief Minister will be killed, if he becomes the Prime Minister of India.

Homegrown terror outfits like the Indian Mujahideen and the banned Students Islamic Movement of India emerges as the biggest threat to this BJP’s PM-in-waiting. An intelligence official said, “They would instead rely on an Indian-based outfit to carry out the job but would provide all the necessary financial help for such an operation,” reports Rediff. Narendra Modi, whose rally at Patna on October 27 last year was rocked by bomb blast killing eight people, is scheduled to visit Bihar again on March 27 to address rallies at Sasaram, Aurangabad and Gaya.
“But they still have their plans afloat and would attempt to attack his rallies even if it meant using a human bomb,” the IB added.
