Shalini J. Kapur Becomes New VP of John Marshall Bank

John Marshall Bank hires Indian-American Shalini J. Kapur, as Vice President of Treasury Sales and Service Manager.

FREMONT, CA: The second largest community bank headquartered in Reston, Virginia John Marshall Bank has appointed Shalini J. Kapur as their new Vice President, Treasury Sales and Service Manager. Shalini is the right person for the post because she has several years of experience in banking within Northern Virginia, with a targeted focus on branch operations and management. Before joining John Marshall Bank, She has served United Bank as Vice President and Branch Manager.

She has earned her graduation from Jesus and Mary College in New Delhi, India, with a B.S. in Commerce. Currently, she is also a part of the Virginia Banker’s Association School of Bank Management’s Class of 2020. 

In the initial days of her career in banking, she was into customer service, where continual promotions awarded her exceptional performance to higher-level positions. She has also worked for local financial institutions like BB&T and Virginia Commerce Bank in leadership positions

Shalini mentioned that to join the John Marshall Bank team is an excellent opportunity for her, and she is thrilled to be able to contribute to their growth and support the successful execution of the treasury management services for their clients

Senior EVP & Chief Banking Officer, Bill Ridenour lauded Shalini by saying that her personable approach, industry knowledge, and dedication make her the perfect fit for VP of Treasury Sales and Service Manager.

Shalini works for the Board of numerous local community groups. Presently she is working with Gabriel Homes Inc. as a director on the Board. Before this, she was the former Director of the Youth Orchestra of Prince William. She is also part of several networking organizations, including the Prince William Business Connections, the Haymarket Gainesville Business Association, and the Prince William Chamber of Commerce.
