Bangalore: Human rights are ones entitled to mankind since birth. But it has always been in question for its fair execution everywhere. Since 2008 there has been a massive decline of rights being garnered upon. Rising protests, political game over government, land, water, and many lingering issues have relatively raised the human rights violation up to 70 percent.

Let’s take a look at the most extreme risk classified Countries for violation of human rights since 2008 to present, according to the 7th annual Human Rights Risk Atlas (HRRA) conducted by Maplecroft, a global analytics company.

10. Nigeria:

Appreciation of human rights in Nigeria still remains in very destitute state. The Nigerian government officials are the one who violates the rules and commit abuses.  Though the Human Rights regulation is protected under the constitution of 1999, there are reports of abuses from all over in the country. In an insurgency imposed by Boko Haram Islamists since 2009, the country has witnessed death of around 3,600. There has been a constant fight between the Islamist groups and the residents.  Lack of social equality,  amenities, and development have issues with freedom of speech.  The police force has been typically viewed as inefficient and corrupt. These prevailing conditions have degraded the quality of life of the people.
