India's Educational Dilemma in 21st Century

The criterion of an education differs in every country and so does the standard of the graduates produced. India is suffering with the lack of quality education and incompetent educational systems and organization. It has practically come down to ‘education for the sake of education’.

Recently the Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Shashi Tharoor had also expressed concern over the low quality of education resulting in unemployment.

Tharoor said, "Employers tell me that not all of our graduates are employable, that many companies like Infosys and Tata consultancy are two examples, which actually run almost their own universities. They have to run training systems in their own companies to train those whom they have been hired to make up for what they have not learned in universities, so clearly there a great deal more that need to be done to make sure that every graduate is employable," as per yahoo.com.

The poor quality of education at intermediate levels makes students incapable of adjusting to professional education, resulting in unemployable workforce. India needs to buck up and make changes in the education system, which includes modulation in the pattern or method of education system in the country to create future graduates who are not only empowered but also can change the status of the nation for better.
