BENGALURU: Recently, Aroon Purie, Chairman of The India Today Group announced his intentions to invest $25K in women entrepreneur startup. In order to select the women entrepreneur he called a press conference in which 4 most promising women entrepreneurs were given 90seconds each to explain why he should be investing in their venture. In that 90 second span, these women entrepreneurs nailed every bit of the period in order to promote their business. Let’s have a look on the entrepreneurs and what they as reported by India Today.

Radhika Aggarwal – ShopClues.com

Radhika Aggarwal is the Co-founder of ShopClues.com, a startup that grew at a rapid pace since its inception. In the 90 seconds she explained that 40 Mn Enterprise small and medium size has joined ShopClues.com for the business purposes. The aim of of the startup is to bring digitalization to small merchants. 3Everymonth they are having around 30K on board customers and ShopClues is bringing them online. Talking about the viewers, there are 100Mn visitors on monthly basis, most of them are from Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

Aadra Chandra, Mouli - Aeka Biochemicals

Aadra Chandra Mouli, the Co-founder of Aeka Biochemicals, a startup that need funds to get established  explained in the crucial 9m seconds how their venture focuses on local issues. She described that her company is a green solution provider based in Kerala setup in Thiruvananthapuram. Their biotech is fully owned by women and they are the first biochemical organization of their state. Their biotech aims at organic farming and follows the mission of save food from chemicals for developmemntof health and want o reach local people to advice them to go green.
