India is never really short of waste and so it gives the opportunity for waste management to be optimally done. Trash2Cash, a Kolkata-based initiative which has found a way to convert trash into cash by providing a solution for solid waste problems in urban areas, is one of the projects that made it to the final 12 for the Momentum for Change awards. And Trash2Cash turned out to be the most successful as it worked wonders.
