India is never really short of waste and so it gives the opportunity for waste management to be optimally done. Trash2Cash, a Kolkata-based initiative which has found a way to convert trash into cash by providing a solution for solid waste problems in urban areas, is one of the projects that made it to the final 12 for the Momentum for Change awards.
