Former Indian Representative To UN Gets Dynamic Indian Award


COIMBATORE: Former Permanent Representative of India to UN, T P Sreenivasan was among the 10 eminent personalities, who received the "Dynamic Indian of Millennium Award," at a function here today. 

The award is being given in recognition of the remarkable contributions made by the awardees in their respective fields, K G Hospital chairman, G Bhakthavathsalam said at the award function here.

"A dynamic Indian is a one who has rises above ordinary people, by making an extraordinary contribution to the nation. 

They have overcome many hurdles and put in tireless efforts to achieve success in their profession," he said. 

Other awardees are Former Principal Advisor to the Director General of UNIDO, Jebamalai Vinanchiarachi, Founder of Dakshina Foundation and Neerkku Nandri movement, Mithreshiva, and Popular Film Director cum Actor, Raja Krishnamoorthy (Kitty). 

The foundation also bestowed the 'Doctor of Excellence Award' on 35 doctors, including 10 from K G Hospital, from across Tamil Nadu, Bhakthavathsalam said.
