Chandrashekhar Prasad
Popular student of Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University and also a budding politician of Communist Party of India was brutally killed on March 31, 1997. The murder took place in broad daylight in Siwan, Bihar. He was addressing a gathering in his hometown when he and his companion Shyam Narain Yadav were barbarically put to death. The reason of Chandrashekhar’s murder remained unknown for a very long time. But later, the three shooters, who were employed by strong politicians, faced life imprisonment after the 15-year-long case hearing.
