Corruption Remains The Most Searched Topic on Google



BANGALORE: With the General elections approaching fast, it is time for the voters to contemplate on their decisions. Most of them resort to search engine like Google to get a clearer picture of their choice. Therefore, checking the trends of the Google Search over the last three months have shown many interesting keywords used and out of it the word Corruption still turn out to be the most searched topic, reports India Today.

Based on the recent consumer interest, other issues like Jan Lokpal and Black Money remain the most searched topic. Among the topics searched within the category of corruption, the Adarsh Housing Society scam continues to rule in search trends even after three years and also the most searched one in the last three months. This is followed by the 2G Spectrum scam and the Coalgate scam. These entire topics still remains fresh in the minds of the voters.

Not just corruption topic that dominates the virtual world, but it is the topic like riots that people still look out for. The 1984 Sikh riots too cropped up post Rahul Gandhi's recent TV interview and also the 2002 Gujarat riots followed by the recent Muzzafarnagar riots in Uttar Pradesh have also been searched on Google.

Rahul Gandhi's recent (and first) TV Interview and the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) recent win in Delhi are some political developments that shows the highest search trends.
