Sadly a fairytale wedding that did not have the happily ever after tag. Priya Sachdev, an actress married NRI hotelier Vikram Chatwal on February 18, 2006. Their wedding is the fourth most expensive wedding ceremony and it cost close to $ 20 million. This wedding happened across three cities in India; Mumbai, Udaipur and Delhi.

Theirs wasn’t love at first sight. They were in touch via messages and mails and finally when Chatwal came to India he popped the question in a temple.  The wedding list included high profile personalities like Lakshmi Mittal, Naomi Campbell, P Diddy, Bill Clinton.

To seal the deal in style the duo held a part of the wedding ceremonies at Shri Niwas Palace in Udaipur, which is a beautiful amalgamation of Hindu tradition and European sophistication.

Now the couple have divorced each other and moved on. Chatwal is reportedly dating a Victoria Secret Model, Angela Lindvall and Priya Sachdev is reportedly dating Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s husband Sanjay Kapur and they have been spotted together in public more than once. Would there be two more celebrity marriages in palaces again? Only time will tell.
