MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday allowed Nestle India to export Maggi noodles, currently banned in Maharashtra and other states. The company is "at liberty to export," a division bench of Justices VM Kanade and BP Colabawalla ruled.

The company told the court that it was in the process of recalling and incinerating product packages. Senior advocate Mehmood Pracha appearing on behalf of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India argued, "If the products are so safe why don't they export. Why put the blame on us?" The next hearing will be held on July 14.
