BJP Reacts Strongly After Mayawati's Demeaning Comment on PM Modi

BENGALURU: BSP supremo, Mayawati, organized a rally on 9th October at Alambagh, Lucknow. She was speaking at the death anniversary of the founder of BSP party, Kanshi Ram. In the rally, she attacked both central government and UP government in her rally by calling both of them communal and dividing people for vote bank politics. She takes on PM Modi by calling a cross-LOC surgical strike a drama of BJP. The Times of India reported that BJP in their reply called Mayawati a big zero.

BJP reacted strongly over Mayawati’s comment over PM Dussehra visit to Lucknow. Shrikant Sharma, spokesperson, BJP said that BSP supremo is giving state politics a communal turn. Elections are due in UP in 2017 and there is a cut throat competition to win the election. Shrikant said she is dividing Muslims, which she did in the past too. He further elaborated that, her comment on PM is reflecting her mental bankruptcy.

The ruling party reacted strongly on Mayawati’s comment on surgical strikes by saying that whole country is rejoicing the bravery and valor of Indian army so don’t politicize it. Shrikant said that BSP is well known for practicing politics for money and doing politics in the name of Dalits and Muslims. Because of her egoistic nature and wrong policies, the people of UP rejected her in 2012, 2014 general elections and will do so in 2017 also.

In a reply to Mayawati’s comment on the achievements of the NDA government, Shrikant said, Modi government will provide details of his work in 2019 general elections. He asked Mayawati to take account from the CM of UP, Akhilesh Yadav, who launched more than 80 plans for the welfare of poor people but failed to execute any. On Mayawati’s claims of atrocity against minorities in Modi government and asking support from Muslims to stop BJP, Mr. Sharma said that she is disturbing the democratic stance of the country by giving it a communal turn. We have to come over with the vote bank politics and work for the welfare of the countryman.
