A Salesman with Meager 1,200 Pay Is a Crorepati in M.P


BENGALURU: In a raid by two Lokayukta officials, a fair price shop salesman has turned out to be a Crorepati. Surprisingly, the salesman earns a salary of 1, 200 p.m.

Suresh Prasad Pandey is a resident of Sidhi district in Madhya Pradesh. He has been found with disproportionate and illegal assets amounting to more than a crore. The officials successfully discovered properties papers, gold ornaments, a double-barrel gun, and four vehicles (includes a Bolero, an Alto, Activa bike and a Honda Shine motorcycle).

The raiders, Surendra Singh and Devesh Pathak estimated that the accused owned properties are worth beyond 200 times of his total salary earned.

"These raids were conducted following complaints of disproportionate assets. Several documents have been seized and raids are not over," SP Lokayukta, Rewa, T K Vidyarthi to told to TOI (Times of India).

Moreover, the accused has eight existing bank accounts, including those in the name of his wife and son.

The raids are not over yet.
