9 Hypocritical Perceptions That Indians Hold In Their Minds

6. Shy Indians, Still reached to 127 Crores

We find it awkward to give sex education in school, we don’t speak of adult topics in public; but there we are creating population wonders.  They dream nightmares and catastrophes thinking about the future and call it “Population Explosion” or a ticking “Population Bomb”.

Indian population grew by 181 million during the decade 2001 - 2011. In percentage terms it is 17.6 percent per decade or 1.76 percent annual. It translates into an average increase of about 49,000 per day.

Although India occupies only 2.4 percent of the world's land area, it supports over 17.3 percent of the world's population.

7. Crowd Following

It is a typical Indian mentality that they do what everyone is doing. Specially the India parents, they want their son to become an “engineer” or “doctor” because their neighbor’s child did the same. Irrespective of asking their own child, what he wants to become or what are his aspirations, goals in life.

It is really important to pursue your own path, because at the end of the day what all matters is satisfaction rather than an unnecessary burden in your life.
