Bangalore: Ever since the time people had innate ability to think, they only wish to live a life of utter luxury and richness.  Some of the people are born with ‘silver spoons’ while others struggle hard to reach that zenith. However, like the saying, ‘Human wants are unlimited’, there are some wealthiest millionaires who in spite of being filthy rich, are involved in committing some heinous crime. 8. Haissam Safetli:

Haissam Safetli was a millionaire at the age of just 19, he had amassed assets worth $50 million by his mid-30s however by 47, he was a convicted murderer. Safetli along with his teenage accomplice Chistopher Estephan was involved in the murder of Michael McGurk in September 2009 where they shot dead McGurk outside his residence. Ron Medich, property developer was the mastermind of this cold blooded crime and the court alleged that the duos acted on his direction. Safetli, who was believed to have lost most of his money, had been paid $300,000 for the hit and was guilty regardless of whether he had gunned down the victim or not. This millionaire was finally sentenced to a minimum of just 6.5 years after he pleaded guilty and assisted the authorities with full cooperation to catch Medich and Estephan.
