According to a survey conducted in a company of 500 staff, 30 percent claimed that annual performance had no impact on improving their professional performance, as 40 percent said that annual reviews don’t let them know what to do more of or differently to improve future performance.
However, it has been a challenging process for many companies to review each employee’s progress over one year. But, in the coming year, ongoing programmes will fall short of meeting employee expectations and companies can lose the key resources because of them.
