George Orwell
George Orwell is the pen name of English novelist and journalist Eric Arthur Blair. His work is widely read and is marked by intelligence, clarity, awareness of social injustice. He is best known for his novel ‘1984’ written in 1949 and the novella ‘Animal Farm’ written in 1945. He was born on 25 June 1903 in Motihari, Bihar in India. His father, Richard Blair was in the Indian Civil Services and worked for the Opium Department.

Joanna Lamond Lumley is a British actress, former model, voice over artist and author. She is most popularly known for her role in the televisions series ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ as Patsy Stone. She has also played in ‘Sapphire & Steel’, ‘The new Avengers’ and ‘Sensitive Skin’. She has won three BAFTA and a British Comedy Award for her work.
