Suniel Shetty Hails Son of Sardaar 2 as a Laugh Riot After London Screening

Actor Suniel Shetty recently watched the newly released Hindi comedy Son of Sardaar 2 in London, alongside his son Ahan Shetty and long-time friend and co-star Ajay Devgn. Taking to Instagram, Suniel praised the film for its ability to unite generations through laughter, calling it a rare cinematic experience.
“Of all the places in the world. London is where the madness unfolds! Caught Son of Sardaar 2 with Jassi, Ajay & Ahan. Maannn watttaa a laugh riot!” wrote Suniel on his Instagram Stories.
The actor also shared his reaction to a particularly hilarious sequence in the film, saying, “And AJ that one take on me… hilariouss. Ahan’s cracking up, I’m cracking up, rare to find a film that has generations howling together! AJ only you can pull off this level of madness with such swag.”
Son of Sardaar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, is a standalone sequel to the 2012 action-comedy Son of Sardaar. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. It also marks the posthumous appearance of actor Mukul Dev. The plot follows a man who pretends to be a war hero to help a young couple gain their families' approval for marriage.
Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, the movie is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, with N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja also attached as producers. Kumar Mangat Pathak has co-produced the film under the banner of SOS 2 Limited.
Suniel Shetty, meanwhile, is currently seen in the second season of action-thriller series Hunter alongside Jackie Shroff. He plays Vikram, a man who receives a chilling call from his presumed-dead daughter, only to discover she’s in the custody of a mysterious figure known as the Salesman, played by Shroff.
Ahan Shetty is also gearing up for his next big-screen outing in Border 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1997 war epic Border. Directed by Anurag Singh and starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, the film is set for release on January 23, 2026.
Backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with J.P. Films and revisits the events of the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
