In a significant move, Prime Video has inked a distribution deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT), a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), to introduce Sony Pictures – Stream on Prime Video Channels. Tailored for the Indian audience, Sony Pictures – Stream offers a diverse array of entertainment, featuring SPE’s international collection of movies, classics, and TV shows accessible through Prime Video Channels. Prime members can avail an annual add-on subscription to Sony Pictures – Stream at a special introductory rate of Rs 399 per year.
The Sony Pictures – Stream subscription on Prime Video Channels provides Prime members access to a wide range of multi-genre content offerings. Notable movies included in the selection are Charlie’s Angels, Men in Black, Peter Rabbit, Ghostbusters, Jerry Maguire, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Taxi Driver, A Few Good Men, Legends of the Fall, Spotlight, Terminator, Groundhog Day, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Step Mom, Book of Eli, Seven Pounds, Legend of Zorro, Anaconda, and Evil Dead. Classic TV shows such as I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Mad About You, Diff’rent Strokes, and recent hits like A Very English Scandal and Loudermilk are also part of the offering.
