Actor Pankaj Tripathi has decided to turn the new page in his life. The man of screen will be the host of a number on an FM channel.He possesses a very distinct rhythm to his speech pattern, and the vocal texture makes him great for narration of stories with entertaining listeners for the radio.He shall be seen anchoring a radio show for the first time for BIG FM's show 'Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho' season 3.
He further shares, "I am looking forward to wearing the hat of a radio host for the first time for BIG FM's 'Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho' season 3, and a show that brings in varied perspectives on important topics.".
Further, he said, "I have always believed in the power of screenplay as an actor, but as a host to the radio network, I'm excited to explore the power of storytelling in an audio form. Sometimes, all it takes is a change of mindset and we will aim to look at the world with that,".
The first season was quite interestingly anchored by Vidya Balan and had most of the topics that most other shows would not touch, talk or write about. Season 2 has Sadhguru on its agenda, which is focused on mental wellbeing and spirituality.It is likely to air in the last week of October.
With three films lined up for release this year, Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most seen actor in Hindi cinema. He has bagged two National Film Awards and an IIFA award among several others. It was the crime drama 'Gangs of Wasseypur' by Anurag Kashyap that gave him a new identity. After that, he played several substantial supporting roles in films like 'Fukrey', 'Masaan', 'Nil Battey Sannata', 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', 'Stree', 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl', and the recent blockbuster 'Stree 2'.
