Baharon Mera Jeevan Bhi Sanwaro (Aakhri Khat – 1966)
This song is from the 1966 Bollywood movie ‘Aakhri Khat’ and this film marked the debut of Rajesh Khanna in Indian cinema. The music of the film was done by Khayyam and lyrics by Kaifi Azmi. Khayyam received so many appreciations for this masterclass. The film was chosen as the Indian Entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 40th Academy Awards in 1967, but was rejected as a nominee. The movie also marked the debut of Bhupinder Singh as a solo playback singer.
