Bell Bottom

Headlined by Akshay Kumar, Bell Bottom will be among the first films in India to be released in theatre after the second brutal hit of the pandemic. Ranjit M. Tewari directs the film. The Suicide Squad

The Suicide Squad is another live-action film influenced by the comic book title, following David Ayer's Suicide Squad from 2016. James Gunn's take is defined as more of a sequel to the comics, and it's been clarified one does not have to watch the first movie to understand this one. Although The Suicide Squad features some returning characters from Ayer's movie, it seems to be more of a soft restart to the film series. Supervillains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of nutty cons at Belle Reve prison enter the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X as they are brought to the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Its June trailer shows that Starro would be the villain in The Suicide Squad, or at least the antagonist since almost all the protagonists are "villains" — that's the whole point. The Suicide Squad is released in theatre in the UK on July 30 and comes out in cinemas and on HBO Max in the US on August 6.

The Green Knight

The Green Knight is an epic fantasy adventure influenced by the evergreen Arthurian legend. It presents the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur's reckless and headstrong nephew, who commences on a daring quest to tackle the eponymous Green Knight. Green Knight is a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain resists ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers to develop a more profound journey to define his character. It has also proved his value in the eyes of his family and kingdom by tackling the ultimate challenger. Innovative filmmaker David Lowery comes to a new and bold turn on a classic tale from the round table knights. The very first trailer of the movie was released in February 2020. After being postponed due to the pandemic, now it is set to release on July 30, 2021.
